What is the railway communication facility from Howrah to Vellore?

I think the trains go from Howrah to Bangalore go via Vellore though the railway station is called Katpadi. Note this point.

There are two good trains from howrah to vellore.....you can take the daily yeswantpur howrah train which departs from howrah at about 8:30PM or take a howrah trivandrum express. you can get off at katpadi. Otherwise you can take Chennai mail or coramondel or howrah trichy to chennai n then take connecting triains to katpadi.

No direct train from Howrah, you need to go via Chennai.
