You can rent a Paradise Valley mansion for $5,000

There will never be a huge selection of 7 bedrooms.  There will always be one or two that are fine.

a 7 room house is a pretty big house, I think if at all possible you should buy the house Rather than rent it. the sellers market in phx is really bad so you can pick up a big house for probably 300 to 400 grand for a really nice house. however it is a renters market, meaning a lot of people are renting because they lost there house to foreclosure. so to answer your question i'd say anywhere from $2500.00 to $3500.00 per month. but that's for a 7 room house. what ever you do stay away from Scottsdale or paradise valley. way expensive.

try to find something in Queen creek. it's a booming community with cheap nice newer houses. queen creek is southeast of phx. but within the phx metro area.
