  1. one kit per six kids

  2. Depends on where you are. Some are 12 kit per calssroom, some are 1 huge kit per school. It depends on how many sutdents and if there are any special needs students involved.

  3. depends on the size of the first aid kit!!

they come in different sizes, and are labelled to confirm, if you have any concerns, check them out.

  4. for NAEYC, we needed one kit per two rooms (40 kids). and the room had to have a first aid sign outside the doorway. another kit in the office, and a travel kit. what went in was based on what our state required.

  5. It depends on where you are. But be careful. Different states have different requirements about what may, or may not, be in the kit. Check your state's regs.

  6. One kit is enough and should contain all the necessary things - bandage, plasters, iodine, cotton wool etc....

  7. Yes it is different in every state.  You can follow the link below and click on your state to find the requirements.  Remember the requirements listed are the minimum, when it comes to safety more is better.

  8. We have a first aid in each of our daycare rooms,

  9. Too be honest I didnt know there was one!

But I think it depends on how many rooms, and children.

I'd have one in every room if I had more than 2 rooms, and if I had over 40 children I'd have a couple. But I dont think you'd go through a whole kit in one day and as long as the items used are replaced ASAP then surely its ok to have one or maybe two? (for if you go outside?)

On trips I have 2-one with usual stuff and one with kids and adults medication. If the group is splitting up then maybe you could have a couple of kits.

    You could always email OFSTED?
