Yeah there are different bands, everything you earn up to $38,000 per annum it's 19.5 cents out of your dollar, anything over $38,000 and up to $60,000 it's 33 cents, and anything over $60,000 it's 39 cents. That's without an ACC earner's levy whatever that is. And it doesn't include student loan repayments or Kiwisaver, which are other things the IRD takes.
