  1. white with black print and colour pictures !!

did i get it right ??

  2. That depends on what you mean...

It is ~5800K - which means it is whitish-yellow or yellowish-white.

But it has substructure on the surface (sunspots and granules) so that the color varies from white to reddish...

In fact it emits all colors - but it puts out most light in the green-yellow region and a lot less in red or blue/violet

  3. Spectroscope fans would say it is yellowish.  From space, like nearly all stars, it appears white. Most of the output of the sun is in the visible light spectrum.  Animal eyes evolved to sense light in that band. In any case, Reality is rather difficult to determine.  It may not even exist.

  4. White.

  8. I should imagine it's black as Newgates knocker.

  9. The sun doesnt have a consistent color the color of the sun varies... there must be a 10000 different shades from yellow to red in there

  10. Sometimes yellow, sometimes orange or even bordering on red.

  11. It is yellow,

using the blackbody radiation formula, and using the temperature of the sun, the maximum wavelength output is in the yellow region.

  12. It appears white because it's so bright, but in reality the sun has slightly yellowish tint.

Here's a colour chart of stars, with the sun indicated:

You can see that it's on the yellowish side.
