What is the real difference between 100% EOUs and SEzs?

  1. 100% EOU (Export Oriented Units) are the units which exports its products.  They could not sell the items to India. For this purpose they are exempted from Central Excise Duty.

    SEZ is Special Economic Zones for which those zones are declared as separate tariff area by Cusoms & Excise departments.  They could sell their products to India, and they have been exempted from duties.
