  1. Testosterone

  2. I started MMA simply because I love watching it so much that I decided to do it. It's not a bad side effect if the girls dig the fighter though :)

  3. Impress girls, defend themselves.  Not insecurity.  So that other guys can't talk down to them or beat them up, or in some cases steal their girlfriends from under thei noses.  You outta know how mean guys can be to each other.

  4. I started before I had enough testostorone to want to impress girls and beat people up. I've been a fan of kung fu movies since I was 3 and started training in karate when I was 7.

Since then I've tried out various styles because I'm interested in exploring the different areas of martial arts.

I just enjoy it in the same way that everyone else has a hobby they love.

  5. Its probably all three, lol.

  6. Why do Rockstars rock? Why do skaters skate? Why do magicians perform magic? Its what they love to do thats why.

  7. To train in martial arts is to cultivate ones mind, body and spirit. To train without doing so would be complete stupidity... Haha! But me? I do it coz martial arts kick ******* ***! THey are awesome! They are an obsession! It doesnt matter if people love or hate me doing them, I am gonna train! I am gonna do martial arts. I am a martial artist. Martial arts are everything, and they are nothing.

  8. This question has multiple answers and will vary depending on the guy and the situation. More often than not, guys want to fight simply to impress other people or gain "respect" by beating someone to a pulp. There are some, like myself, who learn martial arts for self-defense and as a way of keeping fit. It all depends on the situation.

  9. most likely all 3 of those also many ppl take it to relieve stress also to stay relax and many other ppl take it for exercise

  10. The reason why I train is to be fit and have confidence in my abilities. Its also a challenge and pushing myself to be better. It’s a constant fight but I like it. It isn’t about impressing girls (although its not a bad idea) or for others, its more for myself. I choose to learn how to fight because I want to and I don’t want anyone to make an example out of me if anything ever goes down. And plus you never know when you will need to and it can potentially save lives (not just your own) I train in muay thai and BJJ (which I think are a very good combination) So again, its to be physically fit, for protection, and for the challenge.

  11. I was picked on A LOT when I was younger, so that was my initial reason to learn. Then once I got older it was less of a reason as much as a way of life.

  12. coz this is how they express themselves, some people paint, some dance, some play instruments, and some fight

everyone has his own way to express himself
