  1. make sure that when you take your first or second step (depending if you take a 3 or 4 step approach) you get low, i try to make sure that my hands are below my knees, then when you jump pull both your arms up- your left hand should be straight up in front to aim with (it feels strange, but it REALLY helps) and make sure that your right arm is lined up with your left (since your body should be at almost a 90' angle to the ball. Also, try asking someone to stand at the net while you approach, and try hitting his or her hand as you jump, that way you are forced to pull your arm back and swing through

  2. get low before you take off. i used to throw both my arms up and them pull my left one down across my stomach....

  3. One way to make sure you are hitting right is to approach a few times a day, just in the backyard or whenever you have time. Make sure:

-start out with your right foot in front, hands out in front of you and all of your balance is on your right foot (like a ballerina).

-take a big step with your left foot forward.

-then with the quick *right left* step, make sure that your arms are in the "big bird position", knees bent, body facing right, and arms extended back behind you so that when you swing your arms up, it pulls your body upward, making you jump higher and getting full swing to hit.

    hope this helps!

  4. This is a simple answer!

*A good aproach (left, right, left)

*A high jump on two feet

*A snap of the wrist to hit it down

*And to land on 2 feet

  5. go somewhere no one can see cuz ull look stupid but i do it every night... and practice and imagine holding a ball in your hand and arm straight out ... pull ur hitting arm back where ur elbow and shoulder are aligned ... act like ur tossing the ball up in the air.. then swing... ... also this helps get the throw stright when u use a ball with it... if u are talking about serving... cuz im not sure if ur talking about that or spiking... if ur talking about spiking then same thing every night stand and at an angle run left-handed then right-left-right ... right handed then run left-right-together.... and that is your feet now ur hands go both backboth forward ... then both arms up and swing

  6. 1st-you stand sort of away from the net

2nd- you approach the net by getting down low and getting ready to jump up. While you are down low, step with your right, then with your left. Then, you sort of run to the net going down on your right foot then left foot.

3rd- jump off of your feet and snap your wrist to hit it over

4th-make sure to land on both feet. if you don't, you could hurt yourself.

after you have spiked, quickly get back to your spot and get ready for the ball to come back over the net.
