How are they the same and how are they different? Who was the person who came up with the idea for the red cabbage compound with homeade pH paper?

    Søren Peder Lauritz Sørensen introduced the notion pf pH, don't know if there is a commonly accepted person for discovering pH qualities in red cabbage.

    They are the same in their function, to be able to differentiate between acidic or basidic substances.

    I would think the main difference is in accuracy with which you can determine the pH of cetrain substances.

    Red cabbage paper won't be able to be nearly as accurate as a pH paper commercially produced.
