What is the reason behind this dragging problem in computer?

I have many files on the desktop of my computer. I want to collect them in one folder on desktop. When I drag a file to folder, it does not get dragged, instead it opens. What is the problem and how should I get rid of it?

Hi Paresh ,

  Ok do according to what i say, there might be few reasons or change in settings.

1. Might be a mouse option setting.

     My computer >>>> Control Panel >>>> Mouse .(double click it )

     Make shure the left button is BLUE

     Makle shure the dragger is at 7th  point.

     Press Ok.

2.  Due to Virus, have a thorough scan.

3. select the files u want and press CONTROL X (cut) and create a new folder, open the new folder CONTROL  V (Paste ).

When you about to drag the files and put it into the single folder it must get dragged .. if not this could be due to several reasons ..  do format the system and  try once again...
