I bought several pairs of shoes that are my size but they still rub. I've had them for awhile and I've been using these heel things that are suppose to stop rubbing, but it is ineffective. Is there anything else I could try?

  1. hmmm maybe you have wide feet which makes you need to buy shoes a size too big. try trying on wider shoes next time you go shopping

  2. they're too big, they're coming off of your foot and when your foot comes back down it rubs against the back. either that or you're not tying your shoes properly [too loose]

get your show size resized :)

  3. You may have to have your shoes stretched in the areas that rub. You can either do it yourself or take them to a cobbler to stretch them for you. The reason for the shoes rubbing varies. It could be that your feet have grown but not enough for you to advance to a larger shoe size. It could be the cut of the shoe itself. Are the shoes which give you this issue the same style? Perhaps its the manufacturer (are the shoes are from the same company?) I ran into a similar problem with a particular shoe manufacturer a year ago. Also check to see if these shoes are European, as i've noticed their sizes don't correlate exactly into standard American sizes (hence the issue I was having). Hope this helps!
