What is the reason for buying gold through www.bullionvault.com?

Is it for the rich or would you recommend poorer people to buy gold?

Just buy gold through an ETF, through a online broker, and you won't have to store it, and it's easy to sell quickly. Gold is for suckers. The rate of return is horrible unless you buy it right before it takes off, which happens once every 20-30 years. Gold is more of insurance not an investment, so if you think of it that way, how much insurance do you need?
