Don't give me ANY religious answers, I've studied religions and have my own opinions on it and its not what i'm seeking. I mean in regards to an actuall purpose, we are born, we learn, we work, we stress, we retire and die.

there has to be something else?

  1. I know you said no religious answers, but I'm going to give a religious answer because it's the truth. Life is a test that we must pass to get to heaven. So we have to accept Jesus into our hearts so that we can go to heaven and have eternal life. So that is the "actual" purpose. So if you're trying to "seek" some other reason, you won't find it.

  2. we do what makes us happy

  3. If you don't include religion... the purpose of living is to reproduce, just like everything else on earth.  Not very exciting, huh?  Good thing God's there for us!

  4. If I told you, it would be a religious answer. We are here to praise God

  5. You say that you mean the actual purpose or an actual purpose.

I tell you this in all honesty - the actual purpose of or the reason for living - is to hopefully learn how to be and continue to live in love and peace.

Unfortunate;y, most all of us fail miserably and as a consequence, die when we are seventy or eighty.

We all have very distinct responsibilities in this life which are 1) To love god

    2) To love our neighbours

    3) To love ourselves

    4) To learn

To study religion is, as you say, no way to get the answers you need to help you achieve any of the above points but if you believe in and, most importantly, follow jesus, then you will you will have made the right start along the road of real discovery.

    Good luck!

  6. To love and be loved

  7. There is no purpose. If you were the universe would you have created humans? What for? There is no reason. Be alive and spread your DNA and try to forget how unimportant and pointless you are.

  8. we help, we love, we laugh, we give, we care, we nurture, we comfort, we guide, we educate...

As far as the work and stress part - I love my job. I consider it a joy. And I don't have time for stress. I believe in being content and happy instead.

  9. To have lots of children and love everyone you meet.

God him/herself came in through my closed window on an illuminated pastry one night and told me so. I am risking a great deal revealing it now to you.
