What is the reason given by the media that oil prices have increased so dramatically?

Many reasons they are all valid and it may go down for while but over all the trend is going to be up.

We just do not have any oil reserves, it does get produced but for years and years we are using up more then the nature can produce it.

do you think that they will ever go down whilst they are getting away with it...whilst people are still buying it the price will stay up due to demand...i would be very shocked if it went down...wouldnt you all?????
