What is the reason of delaying marriage?

They're not sure if this in "the one." Or they're married to someone else and are in divorce proceedings. there are many reasons. you just have to think of which one applies to you.

I guess it depends on who's doing the delaying, fear of committment or that it will change the relationship in some way would be my first thought, but there could be many reasons, education, being financially set, not being totally convinced they are with the right person, too young, etc.......what are your circumstances?

Maybe one of the 2 thinks they're not ready to get married and need more time to make this serious decision.

Maybe there are money problems and the wedding ceremony is too expensive.

4. If you are already contemplating divorce

5. If he/she asks for a pre-nuptial agreement

6. If you need therapy for sexual addictions

The best reason could be that you are not capable of producing children and are getting fertility treatment.

1.  The couple wants a huge, fancy wedding and they can't afford it, so they think that they're going to have it if they delay the wedding.

2.  Fear.  They think that if they get married, "everything" will change.

3.  They want to wait until after the baby's born.
