well u have 2 blame the goverment they should make it hard 4 people like this 2 be out of work . i do believe a mother should be home with her children as much as possible but there is no reason y her boyfriend cant work. they should only give u enough money 4 the mum and children 2 live then if they want any more they have 2 do what we do and go out there and earn it . also ithink its wrong that a mum wants children just so she can have more money people like this should be limited 2 how many children they can have they should sterilise them after so many children

That is a sad mentality to have. You should just pray for her ignorance to cease and not dwell on the tax payers thing. Welfare does help when people are in need, but I think that a lot of people depend on and have no intentions of getting off of it. That is where it is abused. I think more programs should be designed for people on welfare, to further their lives and get back on their feet instead of using it as a lifestyle.

There are generations of people that live like this.  They think the government owes them.  And they have figured out how to get it.  And, Welfare begets Welfare.  Look at all the Section 8 people and the people that live in Projects.  They know that the more babies they have the more money they can get from the government.  Sad.  I, too, think they should give them a specific time on welfare and cut them off.

Unfortunately we do have live like this at present. It's how new labour have made it, by rewarding the chavs who don't want to work and just want to have babies, and s******g over the tax payers.

Yes, her behaviour is reprehensible, but her marital status isn't the issue, economically speaking. Or would you be just fine with this situation if she were to tie the knot with the ex-con who doesn't like to work?

i think that is sorry as h**l , there is actually people out here who need gov. assistance, and not because they are lazy and wont work , because people like my family growing up, my mom worked her *** off to get us out of a homeless shelter on her own, with me and my brother in her 20's she didn't get help from any one and it makes me sick that people can sit around on their *** and s***w the gov. over on getting food stamps and medicaid and ss checks and ****, there is people who need it more , and they still work their *** off to get what they do have. god i hate people like that!!

and i feel bad for the other nine kids she has, she isn't having them to love them and because she wants them, its just so she can sit on her *** while the " money rolls in " i wonder what she does with all that money if shes got all these kids to take care of, if shes doing what shes suppose to do with it, then she should still be struggling not happy cuz she has extra money, is she not taking care of those kids with it? ugggh god thats so disgusting, its so dispicable, i know some one with the biggest heart who would work her *** off if she could but cant and now she is rotting becaus she needs medication for diabetes and medicaid only covers so much. its sick and sad i hope she goes to h**l

Well, at least she is honest.  I can't blame her for not liking work, I don't like it much myself.  and looking after small children is pretty tiring, I can understand her not wanting to have a job and do that as well.  But if the man is able-bodied, won't they make him take a job eventually?

She may well get a lot of money for having nine kids, but surely most of it will go on supporting the children anyway?  I mean, children aren't exactly cheap to keep, and they get more expensive as they get older.  Just wait until all nine of them are clamouring for their own Nintnedo DSs, or whatever.

Despite her not liking work, she is not lazy if she is intending to raise nine kids.  I'm not sure about the boyfriend though.

Its c**p, there are people out there who do it! They have no respect for the people who are actually trying and get nothing for it.

Well me and my other half are on benefits but both of us are in full time education in college going for a career in the future! That's what people like that should be doing.

I don't believe this story actually...  sorry just don't.  I think it's a made up scenario to solicit negative responses and put downs towards "lousy welfare mothers" who abuse the system, so that all you anti-everything people can shoot right over into the ALL welfare mothers/people are cheats and lazy and ex-cons, etc etc etc.

I see right through "innocent" questions like this, and I'm sure many others do too.  Get over it.  Even if it IS true, (doubtful) that's just ONE person out of millions.  Put away the broad brush your ready to paint everyone with, ok?
