What is the recommended age to tell baby guinea pigs gender from?

My baby guinea pigs are 2 and a half weeks old and I need to know how old they need to be to tell their gender. I tried this morning and out of the three i found out that one is a boy. But i might be wrong...Can someone help please?

  1. About 3 - 4 weeks is the age you can be sure.

    You should be able to tell by pressing above their genitals. You should be able to protrude a p***s on males. If not, and there is a y-shape you have a sow.

  2. at three weeks gently push on babies stomach just above genitals. If a p***s pops out its a boy. Generally the boy has an i shapped genital and the girl has a y good luck

  3. 3-4 weeks and also when they should be seperated from their mother. because they can get their sisters or mom pregnet =/

  4. try it again at the 3 week mark.

  5. at about 4 weeks you can tell.

    Don't worry they become mature at about 6 months
