  1. there is no limit to how much clothes a kid should have. just think about the age, and how many times a day will you need to change their clothes....

infants usually get changed more, but they do also have days where they stay in a onsie all day.

toddlers get dirty outside and even inside, so sometimes you need to change their clothes more than once a day too.

so it totaly deepends on the child.

  2. Toddlers are messy. Get a bunch of stuff second-hand, especially for outdoor play clothes, and don't spend a lot of money on nice stuff, either, since it will also inevitably get stained. But unless she wants to constantly be doing laundry, have lots of t-shirts, shorts, and some pants and a few long sleeves if it gets cool, and accessories like shoes & socks of course.

  3. Toddlers are very messy and my 2.5 yr old often has a couple of clothes changes. She also has a fresh pr of PJs a night as I find they get smelly from nappies etc.

My suggestion is to have a look on Ebay for a 2nd hand clothing bundle in his size. I have often bought them, just make sure you buy a reasonable looking one and all sellers outline the condition. Look to spend £100 for a decent bundle that should include almost all the outfits, jumpers, jackets you need, then all you need to buy is extra PJS, socks and shoes. I find that these bundles are great value and often have designer gear for next to nothing....look for packs including about 50+ items so you can mix n match to suit.

I recently sold a 50+ bundle fully of designer, Next and Mothercare clothes that had very little wear and the buyer was WRAPED!! She told me she will never buy retail again!

    Anyway hope that helps xx

  4. As much as will get you through a week or two without doing laundry.

Check consignment shops for cheap clothing.

Also check out all the clearance sales.

Target, Old Navy, and Walmart usually have some good prices for stocking up.

  5. If the boy is between 2 and 3 I would say he should have 2-3 sets of PJ's, and 14 separate play outfits plus a 1-2 dressup outfits for church or dinners, etc.  She will need to buy a new wardrobe every 6 months at this age so keep it simple or you could end up blowing alot of money on outfits worn only 1 or 2 times.
