On Thursday night, I attended a six-eagle court of honor at my old scout troop, bring us to a total of 292 in our history. I'd like to know if any other troop has had more, and if there is any kind of list that the BSA keeps for these sort of things.

  2. Hello jopex37:

This is a great many Eagle Scouts. Unfortunately the BSA does not keep records on numbers of Eagle Scouts per unit. It is rumored that Kansas City has the greatest number of Eagle Scouts per capita than any other city (no, I'm not from KC).

I do remember visiting the Koshare Indian museum in LaJunta, CO and touring the hall of fame for all the boys who've earned the rank of Eagle in their Scout troop. The walls are filled with photos of the hundreds of boys in the troop who've earned the high rank. The Kiva is also a great place to visit if you are traveling through southern Colorado (perhaps on the way to Philmont). Take an online tour at http://www.kosharehistory.org/.

    Keep on Scoutin'
