What is the red blinking light on my son's Xbox 360 Arcade?

The right lower quadrant light on my son's 360 is blinking and the console will not come on. It is not the four light "Ring if Death" it is only the one light. Some have said that it is overheating and we turned it off long enough to cool and that still doesn't work. I bought it for him as a Christmas present and have had no problems with it since, this is the only incident we've ever had with it. We didn't keep any of the owners' manuals or troubleshooting guides.

that means that it is a hardware problem try to take it back where u bought it at or try to send it in to microsoft

Check the back cables. Mine sometimes does that when I knock out the composite cables.

If that's not it, it could be internal. I'd call Microsoft and ask them.

3 lights soild red is rrod ring of death

2 lights is over heating

you know what 1 light means something is wrong besides the harware

but ya call 1800-4my-xbox for repair

its one year warranty  any problem and 3 year warranty on rrod

if they years is up can cost 94 bucks in us for repair the system for a refurbished one also you could pay 150 bucks to insure u a new xbox not reinfurbished  but you gotta say that to them
