  1. pH = -log[H+]

    or, putting it the other way round,

    [H+] = 10^-pH

  2. pH is actually the measure of conc. of H+ ions in a solution ... its equal to the negetive logirithm of the cdonc of H+ ions in sol

    a sol having less pH has more H+ ions then a solution with more pH

    pH=-log(base10)[H+]

  3. (pH) is the negative of the logarithm to the base ten of the hydrogen ion concentration(H+) of a substance(molecule).

    pH=-log[H+]

  4. pH = - log [H+]= log1/[H+]

    log is decimal log
