  1. essay format?

    Just write it out.

    Pendulum period in seconds:

    T ≈ 2π√(L/G)

L is length of pendulum in meters

    G is gravitational acceleration = 9.8 m/s²

The pendulum period in seconds is equal to 2 times pi times the square root of the length of the pendulum divided by the square root of the acceleration due to gravity, which on earth is 9.8 meters per second squared.

Or: The pendulum period in seconds is inversely proportional to the square root of the acceleration due to gravity.

Or: The pendulum period goes up as gravity goes down; pendulum period goes down as gravity goes up.

Or: The pendulum frequency goes up as gravity goes up; pendulum frequency goes down as gravity goes down.

Or: It beats faster in higher gravity.

  2. Simple Pendulum Equation-:

Time Period = 2 * pi * (sqrt(length of pendulum / acceleration due to gravity))
