  1. 1. They are both in plant cells.

    2. They both have their own DNA.

    3. They both have double membranes.

    4. They both have ribosomes attached.

    5. They both can reproduce independently.

  2. Okay, chloroplast is the organelle which produces food required by the cell via photosynthesis. Mitochondria, on the other hand, provides the energy a cell needs to carry out life processes. So, in other words, the mitochondria uses the food produced by the chloroplast and converts it into energy, hence providing the cell with the required energy.

    Hope I helped.:)

  3. in the evolutionary history, both were separate organelles and both became integrated into the plant cells, while choloroplast is only in the plant cells, mitochondria is in both plant and animal cells.the basaic diff is while chloroplast synthesises food matter(fixed carbon), mitochondria utilises it though ATP is synthesised in both of them.both are also inherited maternally and hence there inheritance is studies under cytoplasmic inheritance.for more details, email me

  4. 1. they are both in plant cells.

    2. the mitochondria takes the energy that the chloroplast gets from the sun and uses it to fuel other cell processes.
