  1. It is the property of either an open system or a closed system, especially a living organism, that regulates its internal environment so as to maintain a stable, constant condition. Multiple dynamic equilibrium adjustments and regulation mechanisms make homeostasis possible. Basically, this is saying that when something is not right, ie the concentration is too high or low, homeostasis will fix it.

For example, when you are cold, vasoconstriction takes place in the arteries and less blood flows near the surface of the skin. This prevents heat loss, thus making you warmer. When you are hot, vasodialation in the arteries allows more blood to flow near the surface of the skin so you lose radiant heat, cooling you down

  2. it is simple. equilibrium is a fancy name and homeostatus sounds like a fancy name for bi! just kidding. I'm only 12 and in the seventh grade so i have no idea what their relationship is..... i BARELY know what they are, I just wanted 10 points!!!!!! sorry, if i find someone i will ask and tyr to get an answer good luck!
