This sounds like a homework question and is dependent on the person who wrote your text book.  In general, it should minimize global warming as ice seals out the majority of oxygen, making residual organic carbon consumed through methanogenic pathways.  As a result, ice minus bacteria would have less significant global warming impact because large amounts of methane would not be released as the ice melted.  Of course, methane is a far more potent global warming gas than carbon dioxide by several fold.
