  1. dew point is the temerature in which the air is saturated, which means there is 100 percent humidity. If the dew point is 50 degrees, and the air temp is 50 degrees, then you have 100 percent humidity and it is probably raining. And also, the dewpoint can never be higher than the temperature.


  2. If the air is saturated,both the temperature value and the dew point value will be equal.On the other hand,if the air remains unsaturated, both are different,the temperature value being higher than that of the dew point.

  3. Temperature is simply the measurement of the amount of energy in an object or area.  Thus air temperature is simply the amount of energy contained in the various gases that compose the air parcel being measured.

    Dewpoint is the temperature that the air must be cooled, without adding or subtracting water vapor, in order to reach saturation, i.e. 100% relative humidity.
