  1. Excretion is involved in respiration because CO2 is a waste product of cells and respiration is involved in excretion because oxy gen is needed in this action and CO2 is produced.(The definition of excretion is the release of metabolitic waste products from a living organism and respiration is the excange of the gases O2 and CO2 across a membrane that is specialised to do this task)

  2. The respiratory system has an excretory function in that it removes CO2 in exhalation. Excretion is simply the removal of metabolic waste products from the body.

    Hope this helps!

  4. Could be a lot of things...the only thing i can think of is that with the repiratory system we obtain oxygen which is put to use around the body (pumped by the heart) and the oxygen diffuses by osmosis to the needed areas. The excretory system is similar..nutrients is diffused by osmosis across the intestines. Not too sure though, Hope it gives you an idea at least =]
