It looks as if you are close to each other but not in love. I would say you are related and maybe he is your brother or a good friend but not a BF whom you are dating or your cousin.. a favourite cousin.. HIs body language does not say you are a couple as when you hug him he doesn't put his arms around you but he lets you hug him and you hug him more like a friend would hug a friend or a sister a brother with whom she gets along well or a good friend who is not a BF or some other close family relative you like.

on the other hand, you come from a different culture. Maybe in your culture one doesn't display affection outwardly and only in privacy.. maybe he could be your husband.. or fiance after all as you are wearing a ring on your ring finger. They were neighbors when they were children and secretly had crushes on each other, but wouldn't admit it because boys had "cooties" and girls were "yucky!". They hadn't seen each other since the beginning of high school because he moved away to go to military school and she stayed there.

They both always wondered "what would be" if they had just admitted they liked each other...but they tried to move on. Until one day he comes back into town and tells his friend, who arranges for the two of them to "bump into each other" at the park but he actually warns them both. So both of them dress up in a nice shirt or dress and "bump" into each other at the park, acting totally surprised like they weren't sure if they remembered each other.

Then they decide to sit down underneath a tree and it's awkward because they haven't seen each other in so long and neither of them know if things have changed. So he tells her he's there to stay and she's like "yay!" and gives him an awkward hug, wondering what the future holds in store for them.
