Chances are that they're Roman Catholic. Cologne ("Köln" in German) is the most catholic city in this country.

And PLEASE don't ask me why Cologne, at the same time, is considered the most g*y and liberal (in the US sense of the word) city in this country. I can't judge, I've never been there.
