  1. By "Quebec", do you mean the city of Quebec or the entire province? The province of Quebec is a pretty big place. As for Ottawa, well, it's not cheap, that's for sure. Try the following links:

    http://ottawa.kijiji.ca/f-housing-apartm...

and for Quebec City (available in French only)

    http://quebec.kijiji.ca/f-immobilier-app...

  2. Ottawa rental for a one bedroom apartment can be quite expensive...800 or more.  however rent a single room in a house or something would be cheaper.  Also rooming houses are always a lot cheaper.  check if you can find some of those.  Try usedottawa.com

But hull rentals are much cheaper than ottawa

  3. Mine is 400/mo but that is cheapish i'd say on average between 4 and 500 for ottawa.

  4. The price in Quebec will be less but since you'll pay more income tax it might still not be worth it.

You are looking for a room not a 1 bedroom apartment so I have no idea.

  5. In Ottawa, a single room in a home is anywhere from $200 to $500 depending upon what is included, and how many people are living in the place....try kijiji.ca and craigslist.org to get an idea as to what other people are paying.

  6. 450 ottawa and 325 in quebec
