What is the responsibility of a young child's parent?

What is expected of each parent? For the first 1-2 years of that child's life?

Take a parenting class; they have them at any good college or university and they are not very expensive.  They will t each you all the basics.

the daily routine depends really on the individual. if you are the main carer of the child, or noy, and if you also work or not. I have 2 young children. whether or not you work though, you have to care for your child, feeding, cleaning, playing, comforting and also look after your homw, washing, ironing etc.
