  1. Chamber of Commerce, is ambassador of the commercial organisations to local Government.

  2. What can the Chamber do for you?

Please do not hesitate to contact any board member /office manager with any questions or concerns that you may have on how the Chamber can serve you.

There are a lot of Chambers who directly organizes business. They are contributory to the development of business processes, delivering latest business updates thru assembly and members may be mutually benefited by networking inside the group. They may charge a membership fee to be used for the expense of meetings, food, events, publications.

They have formed standing committees that could use help from outside the Board of Directors. Those committees are:

Membership/Ambassador Committee: Goals are to visit new and "future" members of the Chamber to see what needs the Chamber can fulfill, and to recruit new members.

Public Relations Committee: Responsibilities will be to promote the Chamber through press releases, web presence, other organizations, etc.

Meeting Committee: Responsibilities will be to arrange for periodic membership meetings with guest speakers or other informative sessions, and to help organize business after hours.

Events Committee: Responsibility will be to organize Chamber events, specifically the annual Business Expo. We are looking to expand upon this event quite significantly this year and could use whatever ideas or help you may have!
