What is the right amount of bleach to mop floors?

I don't want to over put bleach on my floor ..please help?

is it safe for kids?

Clorox has a bleach surface spray that is safe to use around food and kids.  We use it all the time around my nephews.  

Generally, 1/4 cup per gallon of water is safe.

bleach is not really required .

instead try about 1 1/2 gallons of warm or hot water with just about 1/2 teaspoon dish soap and about 1/2 cup of vinegar.

this is what was used for a very long time before Mr. clean.

oh and i almost forgot it is child friendly.and very cheap.
