What is the right amount of time to charge your ipod?

If I charge it to long it doesn't work as long, weird right? But if I don't charge it as long it doesn't work as long too. What is the right amount of time?

in addition to the previous answer, it also depends on when your ipod was made, when you purchased it, and what generation it is. You can look up old ipod statistics on wikipedia and the apple website.

The right amount of time is when it's done. It should show a symbol meaning it's done charging and won't charge anymore so it'll just be on idle, not using any battery , nor charging.

just pay attention to the charge indicator, unplug it as soon as it's full. and be sure to completely discharge it before charging.
