there are times when someone will either advance up in weight class or go down in weight class but whatever the case may be they must be a certain weight to fight in that particular weight division. that is why there are weight divisions. if one could be in one weight division and fight someone from another then why have weight divisions at all?

  2. here is a list of the weight limits:

    1. in boxing, heavyweight is the highest weight class

    2. i didn't understand your question but i'll try to answer it. no strawweight boxer reached the heavyweight class because he should also increase greatly in height. normally, those who are in a lower weight class will slowly climb to he next class because their bodies (muscles) develop.

    3. in a professional fight, no boxers from different weight class would duke it out because that is unfair to the fighter in the lower weight class. it would be dangerous because the boxer in the higher weight class packs more power in his punches. fighters have to be in a same weight class to be able to box with each other. wrestling matches are staged so they wouldn't have to worry about injuries caused by the other fighter.
