  1. it's kinda like holding a baby. and make sure you support the legs. don't let them hang down. i hope i helped!

    becca.

  2. One hand supporting the bum, and one on their midsection (just after their front legs). If you are carrying them, hold them close to your chest.

  3. That's a good question!  My rabbit is pretty friendly but hardly ever lets me hold it.  I would suggest you be relatively close to the ground (they HATE being up high), at about chest level and support their lower body.  You end up kind of cradling them :)

  4. Just so its legs are supported along with its back. A bunny can break its back VERY easily and picking it up by its belly is a bad idea. always support your bunnies legs/feet when picking him/her up and holding her.

  5. idk

  6. well, my bunny is only a week and like five days so i make sure to support the legs and hold it on its feet in BOTH yes both of your hands. do not squeeze to hard or you will break some bones. you can cross your thumbs over it if you want. hope that i helped!

  7. When you must hold them (many hate it) they need to be supported under their rear and front with both hands.  They should be held gently but firmly against your body so that if they squirm or kick they do not hurt themselves.  Rabbits, if not properly held, can break their own spines struggling to get away.

  8. The correct way to hold a rabbit is to hold it supporting the rear with one hand and the other hand holding the front part of their body with their face tucked in toward your elbow facing back. Kind of like caring a football. Make sure the hand holding the rear has their feet as well, because if they kick too hard they can break their spine.

  9. Like a small baby in your arms with all arms and legs supported. Like some other said not too high they prefer to be near the ground.

If you don't fancy having arms and legs everywhere place a towel down on the ground and wrap them up in a small tube and support them that way, still making sure that there is a firm support underneath them.
