i reponded to a spam emial telling me that a huge amount of money will be transfered to my bank account and i should fill, scan and resend an High Court Affidavit form. i responded to the email and i am not sure what is the risk i have put myself into. i mentioned my telephone number as well.

  2. ehab j, dont be fast in sending your personal data over the net anyhow cus u may be cheated, u can be mislead and rubed. such letters are from yahoo boys. the risk is that u might be rubbed as earlied mentioned.

  3. You are in great risk. Because you have filled out a High court affidavit and because that means giving away your Bank account Number, those people can stream money in and out of your bank account (Take money out of your bank).

    Also, because you have signed the affidavit, agreeing to the form, you have no obligations to them doing that.

    The best thing to do is to take all the money out of that banck account, Stop money coming in our out of that bank account, make a new bank account and then put your money in their.

  4. there are a number of scams that has proliferated internationally asking for bank account details to transfer money. but in the end, it's you who end up losing money. you did not mention it but i hope that you did not give out your bank details.
