  2. Lawyer with bar at Law and the brain behind our Constitution. The strongest CENTRE PILLAR OF OUR CONSTITUTION. though GOV OF INDIA honoured him with the Highest Civilian award, ".BHARATH RATHNA" many would realise that he was belonging to the underprivileged class, where in India the upper caste domination was in 100% those days. The reservation now those categories enjoy was the hard sruggle of this great soul. we will run short of words, he is more like Nelson Mandela.

  3. Dr. B.R. Ambedkar was the Chairman of the drafting committee and the Chief Architect of our Constitution. Our Constitution is regarded as one of the best in the world. The most important contribution of Dr. Ambedkar was his fight for equal rights for women and for their voting rights. Indian constitution granted voting rights to women as a right. American women and women in other western countries like England, France and other European Countries, had to fight for their voting rights for decades before they were allowed to vote. Our constitution also grants equality to women in property. The numersous amendments to the constitution are not due any inadequacies of the constitution. They can be attributed to the whims and fancies of the present day law makers . Dr. Ambedkar was born as the 14th child of a poor untouchable family. He was subjected to severe socio-economic descrimination. As a result, his entire life he fought against the caste system. Dr. Ambedkar was highly educated with doctorates from Columbia University (USA), London School of Economics(UK) and University of Bonn (Germany). Dr. Ambedkar was also India's first Law Minister, and pioneered the Hindu code bill granting equal share to women in ancestral property. He was a legal luminary, an eminent economist and a visionary. Even though lot of other religious  leaders from Islam, Christianity and Jains tried to make him embrace their religion, he embraced buddism due to its nativity.

Dr. Ambedkar also revived Buddhism in India. Even though native religion of India, Buddism flourished in china, srilanka and other south east asian countries. Dr. Ambedkar fought for 1/4th of the indian population, who are called untouchables. These are the laborers , most of them were bonded labor, who work in the fields and produce wealth for the wealthy land lords. These untouchables are the people, who kept the streets clean, did all the dirty work to keep the hygiene and safe guard health for the soceity. No other religion in the world condemns you to your fate just because you were born in that caste, except hindu religion. That was one of the reasons that he embraced buddism. Dr. Ambedkar brought hope and gave life to millions of untouchables by giving them access to education and jobs. Dr. Ambedkar's  greatest contribution to the history of our country, to our soceity and to the government is a very stable democracy in the world thro' our Constitution. If we just pause and look at our neighbors like Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Srilanka, Burmah, Vietnam, Afganistan and China, we are blessed to have a strong constitution and as a consequence the largest democracy on the earth. In all the countries mentioned above, all you see is dictatorship, anarchy, military rule, puppet governments and oppressive regimes. We all should be grateful to the visionary, Dr. Ambedkar, who drafted this master piece to safe guard our freedom.
