  1. Ensuring a product is made to spec...and could meet quality guidelines...also ensuring the product is being made as quickly as it could...so essentially speed and quality management...plus ensuring the people involved are doing their jobs in meeting these goals.


  2. I was a Technical Manager, and my duties were to formulate a quality control policy, as well as being responsible for maintenance of buildings and equipment. The factory inspectors also reported to me. Compliance with National Quality standards, vetting suppliers, and reducing waste were also in my brief. It was an interesting job, if rather frantic at times.

  3. Run the day to day operations with a good back ground to deal with  machines problems and make sure production is running up to standard.

  4. It varies you need to see the job description, but in general look after and manage technically related issues that arise within the factory.
