My mom passed away , and my sister is the executor. I am not happy with some of her decisions. What recourse do I have. I live in CT. Also, the will says one thing about percentage of dividing the monies while the bank accounts say a different amount for the division to the beneficiaries.. What is stronger. The last will or the amount mentioned in the bank annuities to the benefactors.

  1. The will is the final authority in distribution of funds. As executor of the estate, your sister's job is to carry out your Mom's final wishes, in accordance with the will. You could contest the will, but most likely you would lose.
