What is the role of organisations in reducing the effect of global warming?

  1. Most try to gain public support and funding and then influence the political realm in some way.  The fact is that to get anything done on this subject its got to start by getting people together and convincing the politicians to take action.

    None of these organizations can "reduce the effect" of global warming, but through new technologies and policies hopefully we can slow down the emmision of greenhouse gases....
