  1. It depends on the physical nees of the students. You may be working in conjunction with a physiotherapist of physical therapist.

Mostly it's the same though balance, strength and increasing physical fitness and skill etc are the key aims of physical education.

However you may need to adapt things for different students. This may include making somethng easier or using different equipment.

It will depend on what type of disabilities the students you are working with have.

    For example

a person with an intellectual disability may be able to do most of the same things as other children their age (walk, run, throw, catch, etc) but not understand complex rules of a game so you can make the rules a bit simpler

a person who has sensory disabilities may need extra feedback from something. For instance you can have a ball with a bell in it for someone who is blind or a ball that lights up for someone who is deaf.

For someone who is physically disabled it will depend on how much. They may be using crutches or a walking frame and using that may be able to kick a ball etc but unless they have some control over what their body is doing when they don't have their arms holding on to the frame/crutches (there are walking frames which you don't have to hold) then they may not be able to throw or catch the ball while standing. You could adapt a game to be a sitting game so they can throw/catch

  2. Physical Education is one area where special services kiddos get to interact with non-disabled peers.

  3. My class of 12 students with learning disabilities received the same physical education instruction as their general ed peers.

  4. beign phsical is easy because its a movment of body

    education is what er learn

  5. Inclusion w/ regular ed students. Also just being physical active is good regardless of reg ed or spec ed.

  6. The same thing as in normal education; balance, strength, endurance.
