  1. they research everything and have a minimal effect on the enviroment which is closely monitored


  2. Mostly atmospheric and weather studies however a lot of research is done into the marine life that inhabits the oceans and the land or ice around the Continent. studies are also made of the earth's magnetic field which comes together at the South Pole.

    By strictly controlled treaties there is minimal environmental impact. All inorganic and mineral rubbish must be removed.
