A basic Rig Mechanic must be able to maintain, repair and perform scheduled maintenance on Cat or EMD engines.  They're also responsible for water makers, centrifugal pumps, compressors, draw-works, mud pumps cranes and winches.  New hires also have experience in computer control of this equipment inclusive of interactive controls.
