  1. there is no role of brain in reflex action.

only spinal cord is involved in reflex action

  2. The brain is involved in those reflexes which involve a synapse between the incoming sensory neurone and a relay neurone in the gray matter of the spinal cord (= a polysynaptic reflex).  This allows connections to be made to longitudinal neurones running the length of the spinal cord to and from the brain which permits the brain to modify the response if necessary EG. to over -ride the response.

The knee jerk reflex does not have a relay neurone (monsynaptic reflex) and this cannot be suppressed. Touching a hot or sharp object reflex does have a relay neurone and this reflex can be suppressed due to the involvement of the brain.

  3. brain does'nt take part in reflex action but the information about the reflex action is sent to the brain after 1 or 2 seconds.

For example u remove your hand when touching a hot object but u know that this has taken place

  4. With regard to spinal reflexes, the brain is not involved in the reflex arc.  The brain has a modulatory effect of the reflex, so if the sine is interrupted above the level the reflex arc, the reflex response will be increased.

  5. almost no role... spinal cord is smart enough to do much of the job

  6. The brain is not involved in a reflex action.

(in other words:  the bran has no role the reflex action)

  7. no any important role of brain n major role is of spinal cord.

  8. There is no role of brain in reflex action.

  9. the brain does not do it all it works with motor neuron and motor nerves it is a simple and in controllable process .for example when we touch a hot thing it is motor nerve which give nerve impulse or you can say simple signals to mind in return the the brain send msg back to our body part which is touching with the ho item and the part get itself away from that thing & WE CANT CONTROL THE REFLEX ACTION.

  10. the brain is not actually involved in reflex action.it is the spinal cord an extention of the brain which controls the reflex action it is so because spinal cord takes less time to react
