  1. I love these so called woes.  Robertsa going to TB he'll be hurt before they play 10 games.

Can Malone play away from Crosby and Malkin?

  2. What woes?  Are you people kidding me?  I cannot believe I am writing this as I am a Flyers fan and HATE Pittsburgh.  But to consider they went from close to moving to the Stanley Cup Finals, I would be elated and give Ray Shero a little bit of a grace period.  You also have to think that Mario and Crosby have to be pulling some of those strings, what else could it be?  The other problem is that some guys (Ryan Malone) over value themselves.  He was good in Pitt (after waiting long enough), but I think he may struggle a bit elsewhere, we shall see.

Keep in mind you have only three or four guys signed for 09-10, you cannot pay everybody seven million a year, just not room for it all, so you have to pick the young guys wisely.  I would lock in Fleury and Malkin, then do something about a second-line D-man, something along a Ron Hainsey type of player.

  3. I think Shero's getting too much blame. The real problem is the circumstances. You just made the final. You have two of the very best, and therefore most expensive, players on your team. And you had a lot of free agents this year. That means a lot of money has to be spent. In case you didn't realize, there is a salary cap now. It's a tough market, and there were not a lot of gems available on the free agent wire this year. So competition was rough. But Shero can't sell the team's future down the tubes if other teams want to overpay for all these free agents. Cut him some slack.

  4. I don't think it is his fault. The Penguins did well last season and players like Malone and Oprik think that they are more valuable elsewhere. There are essentially trying to cash in on the Penguins success. Hossa is a different story, I am shocked that he did not re-sign. The Penguins have the depth to be a force in a few years and he has not won the cup yet, some players would take a substantial pay cut to play for that team.

  5. Plain and simple the salary cap era not everyone will be able to stay on this team it's business Shero is getting to much of the blame

  6. i think its that we have a greedy, money-hungry, jerk who turned down 7 and a half freakin million!!!!!!! and he is going to do everything to sign Hossa, but in the process we are losing other great players! ugh i want to punch him in the gut!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  7. just remember the Pen's did not become that power house until the end of the season. 80+ games it will work itself out.

T.B could easily shoot there load.

  8. I don't want to talk about it. I'm getting p/o'd >:(

  9. Adam Hall was just signed by Tampa

  10. Where the h**l is Tampa getting all this money from?
