What is the safest and fastest way to send a money order?

i recently made a purchase off of ebay and i'm going to pay it through money order. but this is my first time doing this so i'm in need of advice. i would just like to know what's the safest and fastest way to send a money order because i've heard that regular mail can set risk for the check to be lost/stolen...so can anybody let me know? thanks

You could go to the post office and ask them to give you a receipt that has a confirmation number, its usually a little more expensive but if you really want to track your order then you can choose to do this. You can track your mail through the internet or the phone as long as you have your confirmation number.

Even private businesses like PostNet provide this service. All you have to do is ask "could I get a confirmation number so I could keep track of it?" So just send your money order through a package that you can track.

Regular mail is pretty reliable but if you want fast and trackable, send if priority mail (delivered within 3 days) or overnight mail.  Both services cost more.

You could even send it FedEx.  It gets signed for and cost more.

Unless this is a really big dollar amount, just send it regular mail.

The USPS does a fine job.  That's your least expensive option.  Fastest is an overnight delivery like FedEx.
