What is the safest car to be in if you have an accident from 1980 to 2005?

Im looking to buy a used car for my teen driver thats real cheap and i want to get something that is super cheap. ive heard that volvos are the safest, but she just doesnt like the way they look. any other ideas? I only got about 2000 dollars.

  2. I would go with something mid-size like in the general motors line of vehicles and also go with a 4-door but stay around 1999 to 2005 plus the insurance will be a lot cheaper…

    Buick, Olds, Chevy and Pontiac...

    Update.......since you only have $2000.00 better look for something from 1985 to 1999.

    Its down to you to be safe, if your going 80mph in a 30mph route then how can that possibly be safe? It doesnt matter what car you have, they all have the potential of becoming a death trap.
