I am finishing med school next year and i would like to start my internship in London, but everyone is telling me that London is not a safe place to live, but of course i am too stubborn to believe that, so if anyone could tell me what is the safest district in London (i would like to live in a flat that's close to the center)

  1. Of course it's a safe place to live - 8 million people live here happily and without incident. The only places to avoid are the inner city council estates and I can't think of nay reason why you'd be wandering around one anyway.

  2. ..HA....safe??...London??.....The safest part of London is anywhere AWAY from London, plus my friend says London is dirty and crime is on the rise.

  3. Out of curiosity.. have these people who say London isn't safe ever actually been to London?

London is safe.. well as safe as a city can be. At least central London is. I have visited London several times as a single woman (traveled alone) and i never felt unsafe.

  4. West London. According to me it's the Maida Vale and Paddington area.
