  1. What constitutes 'safe'? As in least crime activity? I havent a clue... prob somewhere like Donegal maybe... nothing big city like Dublin or Limerick though

    The west, definitely!

    Galway or Donegal.

    Or Cork at the southern tip.

    Don't listen to the person who said Sligo- it's a c**p hole, trust me, I live there!

  3. outside parts of the cities of Dublin, Limerick, Cork and Athlone most of the Republic of Ireland has some of the safest towns and cities on planet earth.  Very rare to find trouble in Connaught (counties Mayo, Sligo, Roscommon, Leitrim, Galway)
